Heartaches and Tears

Christmas is not about the gifts, really, but it is more of remembering people who loves you and making them feel that they are special. Before pa mag-Christmas, I wrote a list to make sure I have something for all my loved ones. I never thought that I am going to be the Santa to most of the people. I feel so happy when my mom said that my relatives were very happy because I gave them prize money during the games we had in my lola's house. Nagpapalit kasi ako ng mga bagong pera, tig-20 pesos tapos, yun yung prize sa mga palaro. May masayang side, siyempre meron ding malungkot. Hehe. Sabi ko nga kay mama, buti pa sila napasaya ko, ako na lang ang hindi pa sumasaya. Hahaha! Drama mode. Pero sumaya din naman ako dahil nakabili ako ng sarili kong digital camera. Sobrang mura ko lang nabili dito. So far, my Christmas is getting better and better, at alam kong magiging best din yun balang araw. New Year is coming, kailangan ko na rin ng bagong buhay, bagong simula.

I realized how I enjoyed browsing non-business related sites in the office, but never had time to browse the news. I went to Yahoo! to read through different news articles, and one article caught my attention. Why? Because it is funny, but makes all sense. Hindi ko akalain na pati tsinelas, mapapaiyak ako...  Umalis ako kanina, sinamahan ko si mama sa Puregold, tapos, dumaan ng SM Taytay. I had a dream last morning (fyi, i work at night :D), and it was about my ex-boyfriend. Curiosity hit me so I Googled what it means and below were the results I got. My blog is becoming stagnant for a while now... I don't really have much to share. Lately, I am just so busy finishing up all the cases filed in our online buckets, and I rarely go online when I get home. In the office, I am just so busy monitoring all cases online. My partner, Chie, is also busy finishing his pending cases, and I want to strangle him for leaving me alone in monitoring the cases. (lol, kidding!) (half-meant!) Anyway, weekend is already within reach. Time to relax. Time to be with... him... *yihee*

When I go to work at night, I always ride an FX to Ayala. It is just two rides from home. Everytime I ride this vehicle, I always choose either the front or middle seats. It is more comfortable than seating sideways at the back. If I am in the middle seat, I would also prefer to be at the far left, beside the window. It is prone to less disturbance. Anyway, aside from those preference, I also wanted to be seated next to considerate people. Let's face it, everybody pays, and everyone deserves to have a good seat. I get really pissed when I seat next to a person, who is very much comfortably seated on his own. He would not move even if there is still an extra space for others to be seated comfortably. Argghhh! Last night, I was seated in the middle. I was the third to get into the middle seats. Unfortunately, the one at my right is very inconsiderate and would not move, even if the last person can't even rest her back on the seat. I wanted to tell her what's on my mind, but I...

Happy Birthday to you my dear friend! What is to be remembered on this day? Of course, it is my soul mate's day. A lot of people do not understand our relationship. Oh, well, I am too. Kidding. But I can say, we have a special relationship, no one will ever get, except us. Whatever is between us, it's founded by friendship. We have known each other since we were high school, and we just got used to having each other all the time. He is surely God's gift because, he is like my Superman, always there when I need him, and always ready to save me. I stand strong all the time, because I know that behind me, there will always be someone to catch me, and that's him. We may fight, and sometimes, hurt each other, but, we forgive, and then learn from every mistake, and stick to each other. We have tried to forget, and go on with our own lives, but it made it more difficult, because, I was like a bird, without my other wing. I can't fly, and I am like living without my freedom...

So emo post... be warned! hahaha! What if tomorrow, I will no longer wake up? What if this is my last blog entry you'll ever read? What if I am sick? Well, I bet some will celebrate. But hopefully, I will still wake up tomorrow. Hehe. I actually don't feel well after going home from the mall. I had an ice blended mocha, and then I ate a quickbox. My stomach was not able to digest all of the food I ate, I bet. I had to go to the wash room to eliminate them. My stomach hurts. :( I think I just need some rest today. I need to sleep. I was on leave today, so it is better to take advantage of what I am deprived of, and that is sleeping at night. lol I better go. Last 2006, when I was new in eTelecare, I remember Phoenix always gives me this yummy chocolate bar. Hehe. I found these in our magic box today, and I remembered him. Hehe. Nakakatuwa lang. Parang may sentimental value. :D

I set my alarm at six so I can prepare to go to work that starts nine in the evening. It is a very tough job, having to resist the temptation of the warmth and softness of the bed. hehe. Anyway, as the alarm woke me up last night, I turned it off again, and waited for another ten minutes to gather my senses. My sister entered the room to wake me up, and I said, that I will be missing work today. After five minutes, I got up. Something inside me says I need to go to work. My inner voice won, and had me take a bath and dress up for work. I am not that bad after all. I still follow my good conscience. But I kind of felt bad missing my sunday service. I really need to catch up spiritually. I don't want God to get mad at me, for being so busy with unimportant things. Besides, nothing is greater or more important than Him. I miss my God. I am sure He misses me too. :)

I am not really doing a diet program to lose weight, but yesterday, I grabbed a Nesvita yogurt from 7/11. I think it was my first time to actually eat the whole cup. I thought yogurt tastes sour, but this brand is sweet, plus it has tiny bits of strawberry. I will be buying this from the grocery to save more because 7/11 sells at a higher price. I will make this as part of my meal. It is like eating chocolate, but a lot healthier. I think I love this yogurt already. Hihi!

"No more exciting October!" There is no more Ipod Touch this October. There has been a problem in buying it in the U.S. I was very disappointed to know that, but, I can't do anything about it. Anyway, I let it pass. I have not spent any money for it yet so there is nothing to be sad about. I can just buy it later on, when the price gets lower. Ahihi. What I am more excited about now is watching Rihanna-Chris Brown Concert in November 16. Yeah!!! Gold ticket costs 3000pesos, expensive, but I considered it, because it has been a long time that I watched a live concert. I will definitely have a good time, because two BIG stars are there. I love their songs, and I like them too. The concert is free standing, meaning, the whole night, we will groove to the music. This is so cool! Hihi! I am very much looking forward to it. I hope it will not rain because it is in the Bonifacio Open Field. Rain or Shine, I will definitely be there... dancing! Hahaha!

As a standard procedure, he asked us to give a 500 peso deposit as a goodwill reservation fee, and we complied to it. Unfortunately, that time, he said, the model we want is out of stock.   A week passed, and the seller informed us that there is a model available already, but it has a higher price due to service and parts warranty. Being hired in a corporation that pays generously to employees, I observed how a lot of people are still ungrateful even if they are being paid well. I am not a certified public accountant, I am just an accounting graduate, who is underemployed, but, I am still thankful that that course made me qualified to be part of my company now. We are all not accounting graduates, but if you have that license, you earn more that anyone. You can earn fifty thousand minimum, i think. As I have mentioned in my previous blog, I am already working for two years since I graduated from college. Not that I am bragging about it, but, in my first job, I earned excellence awards, because of working really hard. I don't usually miss work, and I comply to all policies. I am paid well in that company, but, I left because, I was offered more than what I was earning. Now, in my current company, I was so surprised to know that, the company is not yet stable. How will life be without Starbucks? I usually drink Starbucks coffee when I only crave for it. I don't really drink coffee too much. It costs more than a regular coffee, but it is still worth the price. I don't put whipped cream, because it stores fat! (Ang arte!) Anyway, last night, I received a text message saying Starbucks milk also comes from China. I don't really know if it is true, but it is quite alarming. One day, you are drinking that expensive cup of coffee, the next day, you are dead. Well, according to the news, adults can tolerate a certain level of chemical in the body, unlike those poor infants who rely so much on milk. Our antibodies can destroy that melamine content in that expensive Starbucks frappe, so, get lost MELAMINE! Just continue drinking that expensive cup of Starbucks! Hahaha!

Wow! I was out all weekend. Saturday Morning, I am in Antipolo with my previous team in eTelecare. We rented one of the houses in Catleya Resort and we stayed there overnight. I am no longer working there but, my sup (team leader) still invites me everytime there are GAs ( General Assemblies) or Team Building. What I miss about the team is their sincere friendship. I can say that I met real friends there. Even if we are at work, fun is still there, and you won't feel that you are working because of the environment. Anyway, I barely had sleep that time because we took advantage of the place. The house is big, with four bedrooms, kitchen, and a large swimming pool. There is also a jacuzzi (cold! hehe!) beside it. She does not have any salary for working. She is mostly out in the office to work, and people always come here to talk to her or get permits. Due to the volume of calls we receive this week because of the upgrade, I feel so exhausted after work. The stress level is different this week compared to last week, because last week, we barely got calls. It is a fact that during upgrades there are a lot of bugs and our work is to trrrrrooubleshoot, and it is causing a lot of trouble. Hihi. Anyway, there is a typhoon named "Ofel". The rain poured hard last night, but I have to go to work. I still got up on time and took a bath. Just as I was about to go, mom told me that there is flood outside our village, and it would be hard for me to get a ride. A friend asked me why I always wear sunglasses in the morning, and usually wear those BIG ones! Yeah, not only do I feel that I look good on those, but it actually covers all the eye area from the SUN. I can't wait for October!!! Dre wanted to have an iPod touch so she asked her boss to buy for her in the U.S. I wanted to have an iPod for myself because when I go to work at night, I always have music to accompany me while on the way. So I asked her to tell her boss buy another iPod for me. hehehe! It will only cost about 10,000+, without shpping and tax. It was a great buy, and it saves me more. I think it costs 13+ here for an 8GB iPod touch. Exciting features are in this version. It is already in the 2nd generation, slimmer, and it has built-in speakers! Wowowowow! Lol! I can't help but drool while browsing in the Apple website, so much excited in the next month. Next month will Dre's boss come back here in the Philippines. Can't wait to own an iPod touch! I have been working in a call center for almost two years now. I am now in my second company. Stress level is too high, but I endure the pain, and bear the fruit of high salary. My job now is in line with accounting. I am a senior technical support specialist for an ERP system. Yes, accounting it is! Carabao English are words “Filipinized” in pronunciation and spelling, and subjected to Filipino grammatical rules. (for example, the present tense “Mag-Internet tayo,” the past perfect tense “Nag-Internet ka na?” even a future tense “Mag-Iinternet ako mamaya”). I don’t know why I am so ungrateful of having a job and a big salary. Sa hirap humanap ng trabaho ngayon, tinatamad pa din ako pumasok sa opisina. Malamang dahil sawa na ako sa pagsagot at pagkausap ng mga foreigners sa telepono. Sa tuwing sasagi sa isip ko kung gaano kalaki ang tulong ng sahod ko sa pamilya ko, parang yun na lang ang nagbibigay sa akin ng lakas para ganahan pumasok. Hindi naman ako maluhong tao kaya malaki ang sobra ng sahod ko sa isang kinsenas.  Hirap na talaga ako sa pagpasok ng gabi. Siguro magiging sign lang na kailangan ko na tumigil pag tinawagan ako ng isa sa mga kompanya na pinasahan ko ng resume ko. Balak ko na din kasi na humanap ng trabaho na mainam sa kurso na tinapos ko. Meron pa ring relasyon ang trabaho ko ngayon sa kurso ko dahil support ako ng isang accounting software. Last June 27, my team mates from etel told me that I was invited in a formal ceremony because I have an award. :P I actually tendered my resignation from the company last March 31, but then, I was still recognized as one of the top performers. I am happy that I was able to receive an award. It was back high school when I get this kind of awards. Boohoo for me. :P There you go! Presenting my award. :D

I cooked Nilagang Baka last time for lunch I took a picture and make JR see it. It is favorite food kasi. I said I cooked it as if it is for him. Haha! Sabi ko naman, someday he will be able to taste it. Naging masarap naman yung luto ko kahit matagal nang hindi nagluluto. Naubos kasi eh. Hehe. :D Last Friday, the package ate and I bought came already. Matagal ko na kasi gustong bilhin ang perfume ni Paris Hilton. The Perfume alone costs 2K+ ata, but this set, I got saradong 2K. Wala lang I opened it as if I am opening a gift. Naexcite ako masyado! Hehe. Ayun, happy lang ako sa nabili ko, at last. :D

There is just something that I wanted to stress out... That time when you read my blog in blogspot, it was never my intention to make you feel jealous, because he did not say that you are already together that time. The last conversation we had was June 17, and I asked him if you are already together and he said "Hindi ko alam, basta alam namin ang nararamdaman namin..." Yes, I knew it was coming.
