Office Rants
Being hired in a corporation that pays generously to employees, I observed how a lot of people are still ungrateful even if they are being paid well.
I am not a certified public accountant, I am just an accounting graduate, who is underemployed, but, I am still thankful that that course made me qualified to be part of my company now. We are all not accounting graduates, but if you have that license, you earn more that anyone. You can earn fifty thousand minimum, i think.
As I have mentioned in my previous blog, I am already working for two years since I graduated from college. Not that I am bragging about it, but, in my first job, I earned excellence awards, because of working really hard. I don't usually miss work, and I comply to all policies. I am paid well in that company, but, I left because, I was offered more than what I was earning.
Now, in my current company, I was so surprised to know that, the company is not yet stable. It is as if, the system here is so Jurassic. Management is not strict especially on how the employees manage their time. I hate the way they pay their employees, because, we don't start with a base pay, we are paid based on your credentials, or I should I say, how the HR measure your potentials.
Anyway, I see a lot of people here that (are paid higher than me) that have very bad work attitudes. One goes to work early, logs in on the attendance sheet, then logs in on the phone late. Others wait on the queue, then after some time, goes offline, to go to the washroom, or chitchat, or just slack. Sometimes, I just want to not go to work because of these people.
Well, I can't control their behavior, and I will not attempt to be like them. There will always be karma. I will just have to live with it. Ignore them. Mind my own life. Leave? Maybe soon...
